Hey there, I’m Chrissy Nguyen. I’m a proud Vietnamese American and was born and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. Ever since I was young, I always had a passion for helping others and wanted to give back to my community in any way possible. 

I am currently a senior at Missouri State University where I am majoring in Advertising and Promotion and getting my certificate in Advocacy Writing. Afterwards, I would like to work for non-profit organizations to promote social issues, such as human rights and climate change. I feel as if these concepts are fundamental to us as humans and need to be better promoted in order to create a more competent society. This also pours into my work with organizations on campus where I choose to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves.

In my free time, you can catch me relearning how to roller skate around Springfield, playing board games with my friends, drinking way too much coffee, and trying to binge any and every TV show on the planet.
